The Litsemba Centre - Discovery Bible Studies
As part of the mandate of the Litsemba Centre, a group of local youth are running bible studies for children, youth and community members.
Already, local merchants and vegetable sellers have joined the studies, bringing together the people in the community to learn about scripture and pray together. These studies are supported by two senior pastors from NGOs, Emoyeni Children’s Ministries and Meniscus.
Bible studies are held weekly, and have been spearheaded by two pastors and their wives, Darryl and Janine Mather-Pike and Scott and Becky Lycan. These bible studies are based on the home church model, with youth encouraged to invest in their own personal spiritual growth and start their own bible studies in their homes. These bible studies each week are places where youth are being challenged to grow in their understanding and faith in God. They are non-denominational and open to anyone who wants to attend.
Activites have continued with Discovery Bible Studies going on at the Litsemba Centre and in homes around the community.

The Bible study at Litsemba Centre is made up of a group of youth and local merchants who come together every Friday afternoon to read and study scripture together in order to encourage them in their faith. At this study there were Americans, Canadians, Zimbabweans, and South Africans.</span>','','thisisthelink125','nowaythisistaken125'))
