Volunteer for Mamkhulu

Volunteers are invited to work with Mamkhulu.org staff in South Africa any time.   We are always looking for people with skills that they can share, or people who can drive, assist with cooking, distributing clothes, etc. at our camps.
Be prepared to work hard and to get to know the group of South African youth who are working with us at the Litsemba Centre.

All volunteers must raise their own support so that while they are in South Africa, they can provide for their own needs. 

If you have special skills such as carpentry, welding, sewing, English teaching, or other transferable skills that would help the children and youth in our community, you would be most welcome to apply.  Please note that we are a Christian organization and anyone applying must comply with the values and standards set out by our organization. 

We accept long term and short term mission teams for our camps and for our daily programmes.   To date we have had over 200 volunteers from all over the world, all of whom have returned home with a renewed vision for their lives.

Please note that volunteering with Mamkhulu.org will change your life.  You will receive more than you give so come prepared to go away a changed person!   

Most North American volunteers come under Reachout To Africa, a Canadian charity that will assist you to fund raise as well as facilitate your trip and your volunteer exeperience.
