Enock Mbatsane

Full time Community Development Officer
Enock is a 23 year old youth head of household who has his high school diploma and a certificate in Community Development. He is now heading the community side of the programme at Mamkhulu.org. Enock’s main task is to work in the community to interview and counsel children at our target community schools. He writes up their stories and assists them to identify their needs. Then he posts them on the website.
Enock is a lovely young man, with a real heart for his community. He has already started a pre-school in his community for orphans and vulnerable children, he attends management workshops for principals of pre-schools at Penreach once a month, assists children to access government grants, and loves his work. He is also the father of 4 younger brothers and runs the household with great love and wisdom. He is an ideal person to work with orphans and vulnerable children as he knows where they come from and can relate to their problems because he has experienced them himself.
Enock’s goal is to create safety nets for young people like himself who have experienced losing their parents at a young age. He lost his parents when he was 10 years old and has brought up his 4 younger brothers since then.
Enock is also assisting with the organization of the soccer camps.
